Effects Rack
My rack is pretty sparse these days. I use to have my whole rig (preamp, effects, poweramp) rack mounted, but these days I'm down to one unit and a power supply. The remaing space in the rack is used as storage for all my cables, so I have a very easy setup.
- Rocktron Intellifex - I use the Intellifex predominantly for reverb and delay, as I prefer it to amp based reverb or pedal based delay. I also use it for slight chorusing, octave effects, and some small amount of harmonizing (mostly as an effect). I purchased this piece to replace my Alesis Quadraverb--which was a great unit, but its midi input had gone bad.
- Furman Power Conditioner/Tuner - All of my equipment--rack, amp and pedals--are powered through this until. Makes for an easy setup at gigs. The unit also has a built in tuner with a mute button on the front panel, which makes it great for live shows. My signal comes from my pedals into this unit before going to the input on my amp
