1988 Peavey Vandenberg

I don't actually own this guitar anymore--I sold it to a collector that found me on the web back in 1998, but I included it here since I used it on many of the songs on the site. It was used extensively on both The 4 Pigs songs and Funky Bonz material from 1997. I actually picked this guitar up in 1989, along with a Marshall 4x12 speaker cabinet, with the insurance money I received when my Les Paul was damaged.

It had a Kahler/Floyd Rose bridge, an EMG 89 in the bridge position, and an EMG single coil in the neck position. The neck was 24 frets--all easily accessible.

The guitar's namesake, of course, was Adrian Vandenberg, who at the time was playing with Whitesnake--one of my favorite bands.

Apparently, Peavey no longer makes the exact guitar, but they make the V-Type USA, which is very similar.
